Hipp Comfort Formula Special Baby Milk
Hipp Comfort formula is nutritionally complete and has been specially developed with less lactose, hydrolyzed protein, fibers and a special fat blend. These make the milk easier to digest than a standard infant formula. Colic can have many causes, including a temporary difficulty in digesting lactose, and usually resolves itself by the time a baby is 4-6 months old. If you are concerned that your baby has colic or constipation, or have any other feeding concerns, please speak to your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Hipp Comfort Formula Features:
- Reduced lactose content
- Hydrolysed protein which is easier to digest than intact protein
- Special fat blend based on breastmilk as the ideal model
- LCP (Omega 3 & 6) these fatty acids are particularly important in the first months of a baby’s life as they don’t produce enough LCPs on their own Praebiotik®
Hipp Organic has the biggest organic formula milk range available in the UK. We have milks suitable for every age so you can be sure to give your little one the right nutrition at the right time if they are bottle fed.
Babies suffering from wind, colic and constipation may benefit from formulas in which the protein has been hydrolysed. This hydrolysed protein is not available in an organic form. Although this product is not certified organic, you can be reassured that HiPP Combiotic® comfort milk formula has been made to our usual high quality standards. It provides your baby with all the essential nutrients they need in the right quantities for their growth and development.
Preparation and Usage
Preparing the feed
Please follow preparation and feeding instructions carefully; failure to do so may make your baby ill, as powdered milks are not sterile.
1 Wash hands and sterilise all equipment according to the manufacturers’ instructions.
2 Boil 1 litre of freshly run water and leave to cool for no longer than 30 minutes. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
3 Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle (referring to the Feeding Guide).
4 Using the scoop provided add the correct number of scoops of powder – 1 level scoop of powder to each fluid ounce of water (approx 30ml). Level off the powder using the scoop leveller. Do not press the powder.
5 Place the sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake well until all the powder has dissolved (approx 15 seconds).
6 Cool to drinking temperature (approx 37ºC) by holding the bottle under cold running water. Always test the temperature of the milk before feeding. Feed immediately.

Important Feeding information
HiPP Combiotic® comfort formula is thicker than standard infant formulas so may flow better through a faster flow teat.
Only use the scoop provided in the pack
Do not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated by adding extra water/scoops, and do not add anything else to milk feeds
For hygiene reasons, always freshly prepare feeds and do not prepare in advance. Use made up feeds within 2 hours of preparation. Discard anything leftover at the end of the feed.
Do not heat feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur which could cause scalding
A responsible person should be with your baby during feeding
Please clean your baby’s teeth regularly when they appear
Introduce a cup or beaker as soon as possible to prevent prolonged/frequent contact of teeth with milk feeds which may increase the risk of tooth decay
Use sachet within 3 weeks of opening
If you switch to HiPP Combiotic® comfort milk your baby’s stool consistency may change. This is typical for products that contain oligosaccharides, which may make baby’s stool softer.
